Part of The Agency La Jolla and The Savory Group, a lifelong San Diego resident, Amanda Rios has a deep understanding of the local market and is guided by a passion for helping others achieve their real estate goals while providing thoughtful guidance and counsel from the start to finish. Known for her forthright nature and commitment to authentic client care, Amanda is a rising star in the San Diego real estate community.
“I love meeting new people, and feel my biggest strength is that I'm not a salesperson and I never will be,” says Amanda. “I will not ‘sell’ any of my clients on a home I’m not 100% confident in. They confide in me and I am honest with them, no matter what the situation. I’m truly an open book, and will make sure my clients trust my guidance and see me as a real person, too.”
Raised in East County and now living near the coast, Amanda became a licensed real estate agent in 2021 after working in the real estate industry for 3.5 years as an assistant to her longtime family friend, mentor, and The Savory Group founder, Jeannine Savory. Amanda’s intrinsic connection to the real estate industry first took root in 2003, when she and her family lost their home in the Cedar Fire and rebuilt it in the following years. As an eight-year-old, she developed a keen understanding of the importance of “home,” and the pride and security that comes with owning property.
“There is truly no other career I can see myself pursuing,” says Amanda. “Real estate not only challenges me but truly brings me joy and lights a fire in me I’ve never experienced before. Succeeding for my clients is my driving force and pushes me to work hard and better myself each and every day.”
A longtime design-lover, Amanda studied Art History at San Diego State University and often taps into her knowledge of architecture when assessing homes for clients. In addition to volunteering with The Savory Group for The Prayers for Parker Organization to end Childhood Cancer, Amanda handles The Savory Group's “Savory's Heroes” program which gives back to our local first responders, members of the military, teachers, and healthcare workers.
In her free time, Amanda can be found with her family, boyfriend, and adorable dog, Archie. “Every day I tell Archie I’m working hard to give him the backyard of his dreams!” says Amanda. In the summertime, Amanda also regularly travels to the river in Arizona with her family, where they spend time on their boat. Amanda also enjoys off-roading, scuba diving, hiking, fishing and trying new foods and drinks from other cultures.
